Warren Waltemore Keehner, age 85, of Guttenberg, was born the son of Walter P. and Caroline (Chettinger) Keehner, July 27, 1923, in Wood Center, Iowa. He died Tuesday, June 9, 2009, at Mercy Medical Center in Dubuque.
Warren graduated from the Guttenberg High School in 1940 and farmed with his family for many years. On September 15, 1945, he was united in marriage with Alo Borrett. He enjoyed gardening, cooking, traveling and in earlier years, hunting.
Those left to cherish his memory is his wife Alo; two daughters, Tanya (Merrill) Hyde of The Villages, Florida and Pam (Paul) Martin of Buckingham, Iowa; one son, Lonnie Keehner of Guttenberg; seven grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; and one sister, Jean King of Kansas City, Kansas.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters, Gerry Gull and Jessie Clefisch; and three brothers, Lloyd, George and Howard.
