Margaret Delight (Nimmo) Bissell, age 85, of Guttenberg, died Wednesday, May 20, 2009, at Guttenberg Municipal Hospital. She was born the daughter of Burt and Clara (Combs) Nimmo, April 3, 1924, near Edgewood, Iowa.
Marge received her education from the Elk Creek Country School and was employed by Esser's Clothing Store for many years. She enjoyed playing cards, traveling, crafts, and shopping at 2nd hand stores.
Those left to cherish her memory, are her daughter, Jane Glawe of Storm Lake; two sons, Cletus (Sheryl) Bissell of Delta, Colorado and Chris Bissell of Guttenberg; eighteen grandchildren; numerous, great-grandchildren; and special friend, Harlan Herkes of Guttenberg.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two husbands, Harold Bissell and Mel Schmitt; one son, Curtis; one sister, Helen Ingles; three brothers, Ray, Jay, and Bill; one grandson, Jade, and one granddaughter, Shawn.
